Chris Notarfrancesco posted records on the Gettysburg gridiron that few before or since have been able to equal.
Notarfrancesco took a lead role in the offense after transferring to the school for his sophomore campaign. He led the team in receptions and receiving yards in each of his first two seasons, in addition to setting a new standard for kick-off return yards with 509 in 1992. Notarfrancesco was named All-Centennial Conference Second Team after setting a school record for receiving yards in 1993.
During his senior season, Notarfrancesco shattered nearly every receiving record, including his own single-season mark for yards with 1,115. He posted a school-record 263 receiving yards against Franklin & Marshall in his final collegiate contest. He was named All-CC First Team and All-America Second Team as Gettysburg closed the year 8-2.
Notarfrancesco broke the career record for receiving yards at Gettysburg by over 500, finishing his tenure with 2,114. Overall, he held 16 school records at the time of his graduation.
A native of Mechanicsburg, Pa., Notarfrancesco graduated from Gettysburg with a degree in management.
